The Champions Dinner is now in its 4th year and has become an established fixture in the London social calendar. We are delighted to announce details for the 2007 dinner: Across the Line - a spectacular charity gala evening combining fine food with first-class entertainment from the world of sport and statesmanship.
During the evening there will be on-stage interviews with our very special guests Sir Matthew Pinsent - the 4-time Olympic Gold medallist - and The Right Honourable Sir John Major - former Prime Minister and avid cricket fan. Mike Catt MBE, England rugby captain and World Cup-winning centre, and Andrew Strauss MBE, England's 2005 Ashes-winning opening batsman and fomer captain, are looking forward to completing the 'Parkinson' style line-up. Your MC will be Martin Bayfield, the former England rugby giant, a double Grand Slam winner,
British Lion and the finest after dinner sports speaker in the country. He will entertain guests throughout the evening and will be posing some searching and irreverent questions to our guests alongside the incomparable Phil Tufnell, who is sure to put his own 'spin' on the questioning!
